Overview

Kangarootime was founded in 2015 to equip all early childhood education providers with the tools they need to more effectively and efficiently run their businesses.

Founder and CEO, Scott Wayman, became passionate about early childhood education at the age of twenty-eight when he unexpectedly adopted his youngest brother after their parents passed away. He got a first-hand look at what these providers experience on a day to day basis. Scott developed Kangarootime with the goal of automating the business and alleviating tedious administrative work, so early childhood educators can focus on what really matters: the children.

In building the first-generation Kangarootime platform, Scott and his team learned the ins and outs of the early childhood education industry along with the needs and pain points of centers. Using this knowledge, they developed the next-generation Kangarootime platform designed specifically with multi-centers in mind.

This platform makes the day-to-day operations a breeze with an improved user experience and all the features a center needs to succeed. It has main components to provide a holistic, end to end experience: childcare center management software, classroom point of care, parent and guardian engagement, and staff management.
